Tasting Menu at Corb Mari – 30th March 2012

Spring is here! And although the weather doesn’t seem to think so…we certainly think it is time to start exploring the island and again and enjoying some of the seasonal food on offer.

Corb Mari Restaurant in Pollensa, which is best known for its meat specialties and fabulous location just by the sea at the Port of Pollensa, is welcoming the new season by offering a one-off tasting menu in collaboration with local wine estate Biniagual (located in Binissalem) on the 30th of March 2012.

A wine expert from Biniagual winery will be there to introduce each wine and each course – and, as we are sure you will agree, the menu sounds really tasty!

Flor de Sal also offers stunning sea views and exceptional service – so make this your next option for a lunch in the sunshine!

Wine & Cheese at La Casa de los Quesos

La Casa de los Quesos, is a specialised cheese shop located on Paseo Mallorca in Palma and they organise frequent wine and cheese tastings. The great thing about these tastings is that they only cost 5€ to attend and include short explanations about the cheeses and wines to be tasted on the day.

We have been to a couple of these tasting events and we can personally attest to their quality; you get to try great products (usually a Mallorcan wine or two) and you also learn something new thanks to the participation of wine and cheese experts.

Coming up this Friday the 9th of March, La Casa de los Quesos presents samples of  Swiss and Italian cheeses to be matched with a white Mallorcan wine.

The event starts at 20:30 and entrance is 5€.

-If after the event you decide to buy any produce, you will benefit from a 10% discount.

See you there!
