Well the snow in Mallorca this past weekend has certainly been romantic!! It has put us in the mood for telling you all about the Valentine’s menus on offer in Mallorca.
In case you didn’t know, the 14th of February, the day we celebrate Saint Valentine’s day, is just around the corner.
This year, more than ever, you and your loved one deserve a treat – it’s been cold and it’s been a hard winter in Spain (especially with the current financial situation). So we have two very romantic and very special suggestions for you:
Marc Fosh and his team have prepared the following menu at Misa Braseria & Bar in Palma:
Glass of Cava
Duck Rillette with olive bread and tangerine marmalade
Cream of corn fed chicken and mint soup with an almond and Iberian ham biscotti
Fresh Hake with an artichoke and clams ragout and tomatoe consomme
Armagnac prunes with vanilla ice cream and caramelized walnuts
Including wines
35 euros per person plus tax

Chef Tomeu Caldentey and his team are offering a Valentine’s Special on the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th of February, which you can combine with a stay at the luxury Protur hotel in Sa Coma if you so wish.
His is a six course menu including snacks, wine and cava and costs 68 euros per head.
