Every year, Mallorca hosts a variety of ever popular events and activities across the island. As you probably know, a lot of them involve eating and drinking!

There are fairs in honour of certain produce, such as the sobrassada fair held every year in Campos, or the mushroom fair held every year in Mancor del Vall. These fairs revolve around food and include tastings and markets where you can try and buy the local produce.

There are of course a lot of events devoted to wine. The Fira del Vi in Pollensa, is perhaps one of the most popular of these. For a small fee, you are giving a wine glass on entrance and can then try the great Mallorcan wines on offer.

There is even an International Gastronomic Fair held in Mallorca. ‘Alimenta’ is held every  other year and is a must visit for foodies, you can watch some of the island’s best Chefs at live cookery demonstrations and try some of their creations.
