Over 200 Mallorca Restaurants Profiled

It’s been quite an intense five years of investigation for us! We have got to know so many excellent Mallorca Restaurants and their chefs. We have learned a lot about the gastronomy and culture of this island – and it really does have a lot to offer – from all that is grown and produced here (almonds, olives, figs, oranges, lemons, tomatoes, potatoes, artichokes, cabbage, asparagus and much more) to the huge variety of seasonal fish and seafood available, as well as the lamb and pork delicacies (sobrassada is the sausage that is traditionally made from the Mallorca black pig). The cheeses are very tasty – made on the island from sheep and goat’s milk. You won’t find too many cows here anymore, but we have spotted the odd ones on our travels! Wines are also a fabulous find – there are now about 300 wines produced on Mallorca, and many have won awards here and abroad. You’ll find a variety of Mallorca Wines offered in the over 200 Mallorca Restaurants that we have profiled on SkyBlue Mallorca: the most complete Food & Wine guide for Mallorca. Enjoy! Astrid and Anthony
